Classic Car Engines Ltd and Graham Williams
Graham Williams has been rebuilding and restoring classic car engines for 50 years, indeed since many were new! As these skills are dying out we have decided to make a series of very practical DVDs on how to do it as the cars will endure and become more valuable.
You can also have individual instruction from Graham at one of our masterclasses and use our facilites to rebuild your classic engine with as much or as little help as you need. Or if you just want to see your engine being restored, bring your engine, have a holiday locally, and look in on your engine when you wish.
We can now offer a range of Jaguar six cylinder restoration parts which has evolved out of our work on these engines. Now that they are around 50 years old the problems of siezed studs and loose bucket guides are much more common.
The most recent addition to the company's capability is our crane truck - able to lift a ton at a time, and carry a 2 ton load - perfect for collecting and delivering engines! This together with a recent extension to our workshop now enables us to restore the Jaguar V12 engines as well.
Our mission is to provide competetively priced, high quality work and pass on the skills.
Graham and his wife Coralie own and run a Hesketh historic formula one car with no additional assistance, running and maintaining th Cosworth DFV themselves. Graham has been racing since 1963 and still holds an international racing licence. He is an 'accredited preparer' for the Masters Series and he and his small team of engineers are capable of any historic race engine preparation.
