Graham has had a long association with Cosworth engines being involved with the DFV before it was launched. We are happy rebuild them at a competetive price as we have a supply of parts direct from the factory, and they will even dyno test them for us.
You can see on this site that we specialise in the Jaguar straight six engine, and can provide these in race or fast road specification. We have access to race quality parts, and have recently supplied an engine with a counterbalnced steel crank.
In the late 80's and early 90's Graham went to live in the USA and formed his own racing team from scratch. They ran in the IMSA series for long distance sports cars doing such events as the Daytona 24 hour, Sebring 12 hour and others in the series across the contiment.
They ran Spice chassis with American pushrod engines as the rules required that the engines started life in the showroom, and that was all there was. Having tried a couple of American engine builders it quickly became obvious that they would have to build their own under Graham's direction, and did so very successfully for the duration. He also developed a couple of prototype engines, but late rule changes barred them from running.
At Classic Car Engines Ltd we therefore have the exterience to restore most types of American engines, classic, more modern, V8, pushrod or quad cam etc.. It's not always as expensive as you might think as many of the engines are quite simple, and we have a parts supply direct from the USA.
WE ALSO HAVE TWO COVENTRY CLIMAX ENGINES IN STOCK FOR RESTORATION
